Engagement of confidence
Our hotel is a small establishment and it can be hard for us to re-sell a holiday break which has been cancelled or shortened. This represents a substanial loss for us, so we have put into place these terms and conditions of sale. They are based on trust between you and the hotel: you promise to come by paying a deposit, and the hotel guarantees the reservation of your accomodation by sending you a written confirmation.
To guarantee a reservation the hotel asks you to pay a deposit of 1/3 (with a minimum of one night) of the total sum of your stay or 100% with others types of payment (FOR SPECIAL OFFERS, 100% of payment in advance, no refundable, with no posibility of modification or cancellation). You will pay the balance at your arrival, when we will give you the keys.Once the hotel receives your deposit they will send you a written confirmation (by post or by email) that your accommodation has been reserved. You can subsribe the optional Cancellation Insurance "Cornhill France" if your credit card (Visa Premier or Gold Masercard) doesn't include it yet.
If you prefer to pay the totality of your stay when you arrive, you can also guarantee your reservation by providing us with the details of your bank card (if the expiry date is after your stay) in which case no sum will be debited from your account at the time of the reservation.
Up until 8 days (15 days for SEASON RATES from 1/7 to 31/8) before your scheduled arrival date it is possible to change or cancel your reservation without incurring fees. However, if you wish to change, shorten or cancel your stay between 7 days (14 days for SEASON RATES from 1/7 to 31/8) before and the day before your scheduled arrival date, your deposit will not be refunded (if you cancel, you'll be refunded of the difference on our credit card before 30 days), or deducted, from the total sum of your stay (or the cancellation fees of 1/3 of the total sum of your stay, with a minimum of one night, will be debited from your bank card which you provided to guarantee your reservation). If you cancel on the day of arrival or do not arrive on the day or the time arranged, a cancellation fee of 100% of the stay is taken on your credit card. However, as we are a small establishment we can also offer you the possibility, upon the cancellation date and the period, to postpone your stay until later on in the same calender year, the sum (minus 25€ per room) that you have already paid can be put towards another stay in the same year. 100% of the stay is taken for special offers, no refundable, no modifiable, no cancellable. SPECIAL CASE FOR "SPECIAL OFFERS, WEEK RATE, PACKAGES" and GIFT CHEQUES/BOXES, THE DEPOSIT IS LOST IF YOU CANCEL OR SHORTER YOUR STAY. The Guest agrees to receive newsletters from the hotel. The hotel is a No smoking hotel.
